§ Mr. DaltonJust over 11,000 names are now on the Register. In a few cases, such as discharged ex-Service men, licences have already been granted to persons on the Register. But, as the House knows, the object of the Register is to facilitate the return to their former businesses after the war, of persons who have had to close down during the war.
