This Amendment and the following one in my name have been put down at the request of the Port of London Authority, and their purpose is merely to make it clearer than the Bill as drafted does that the status quo of these tax-free payments remains.
§ The Financial Secretary to the Treasury (Mr. Assheton)Since this Amendment which has been moved by my hon. Friend 364 the Member for Twickenham (Mr. Keeling) merely clarifies and makes more certain the original terms of the Bill, I have great pleasure in accepting it.
