§ 22. Mr. Rileyasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether Mr. L. C. Hill who was sent out to Jamaica to advise on the reorganisation of the local government has now completed his work; whether his report has reached the 1752 Colonial Office; and whether a copy will be placed in the Library.
§ Mr. Emrys-EvansMr. Hill has completed his investigations and his report is in the hands of the Jamaica Government. As soon as copies are received from the Governor the report will be placed in the Library of the House. It is hoped that the report will be submitted to the Legislative Council in May, and Mr. Hill, who is at present in this country, will be returning to Jamaica shortly to assist in putting into operation those recommendations in the report which are approved.
