Major-General Sir Alfred Knoxasked the Minister of Supply whether, if it is impossible at once to resume the import of esparto grass, he will help in the preliminary reorganisation necessary to that import such as arrangements for leases from the French for the collection of the grass, the re-establishment of transport and the restoration of facilities at the ports which will require months to reorganise.
