§ 35. Viscount Hinchingbrookeasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he has any statement to make on the collection and delivery of mails in the Channel Islands.
§ Mr. H. MorrisonArrangements have been made by the International Red Cross for delivery in the Channel Islands of mail from prisoners of war in Germany, and of Red Cross messages of the usual kind from the United Kingdom; and for the transmission of mail from the Islands to prisoners of war in Germany. Proposals have been made by the British Red Cross for the transmission of Red Cross messages from the islands to this country. I have no further information on this head at present, but I am making inquiries.
