Lieut.-Commander Joynson-Hicksasked the Secretary of State for Air whether he is aware that, owing to the high cost of travelling of officers and civilian instructors to the A.T.C. between their homes and their units, the efficiency of the A.T.C. training is being handicapped and if payment of such proper expenses may therefore be authorised in future.
§ Sir A. SinclairNo, Sir. I am not aware that the existing travelling regulations react unfavourably on the efficiency of the Air Training Corps. The regulations are in line with those of the Sea Cadet Corps and the Army Cadet Force.
