§ 55. Mr. Molsonasked the Minister of Food whether he will take steps to prevent the use of His Majesty's Stationery Office envelopes franked as "Official Paid," by the Society of Civil Servants, for the circulation of notes relating to the affairs of that society and quite unconnected with the official business of his Ministry.
§ Colonel LlewellinYes, I have caused further instructions to be issued with the object of preventing the improper use of "official paid" envelopes. In fairness to the Society of Civil Servants, I must add that so far as I know only one branch secretary used such envelopes for sending out circulars on behalf of his branch. Further, the society on hearing of this mistake, wrote to all its members to prevent a recurrence.
