§ The Minister of Production (Mr. Lyttelton)A representative of the Ministry of Supply recently surveyed the supply and inland transport position of esparto grass in North Africa. While certain quantities are available, it may be difficult in view of the shipping position to provide for imports for the time being. I can, however, assure my hon. Friend that I am fully alive to the importance of resuming imports of esparto as soon as possible.
