HC Deb 05 December 1944 vol 406 cc336-7
22. Mr. Mander

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether, in view of the letter sent to him by the Wolverhampton Chamber of Commerce on the subject of export and post-armistice trade, he will now make a statement dealing with the points raised.

Mr. Dalton

Yes, Sir. I hope to have an opportunity during to-morrow's Debate.

33. Mr. Rostron Duckworth

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether any British exports have up to the present shown an increase since the beginning of the year; and, if so, whether he can give the details.

Mr. Dalton

Some British exports have increased and others decreased since the beginning of the year. I hope to publish, as soon as possible in the New Year, particulars for the whole of 1944, corresponding to those recently published for 1943 and earlier years.
