§ 6. Mr. A. Edwardsasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has been in touch with the French Provisional Government with reference to the interception by the French Partisans of supplies of mortar shells despatched from Spain to German troops in France; and if he can make a statement.
§ Mr. EdenNo, Sir. I have no reason to believe that mortar shells or any other munitions of war are being delivered to the enemy from Spain, and I have no evidence of the interception of such supplies by the French Forces of the Interior. If the hon. Member will give me any details in his possession I will be ready to look into the matter.
