Mr. JohnstonI have brought the resolution in question to the notice of my Noble Friend the Minister of War Transport, and of the North of Scotland Hydro-Electric Board and the Scottish Council on Industry, but I am not in a position to make any statement in regard to it, beyond saying that these and other proposals relating to the Caledonian Canal are at present under consideration.
