HC Deb 19 April 1944 vol 399 cc191-2
40. Mr. Rostron Duckworth

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether, to meet the requirements of the vast extension of tame rabbit keeping in this country, adequate feeding stuffs are available and expected to be available during the present year.

The Joint Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Agriculture (Mr. Tom Williams)

Concentrated feeding-stuffs for rabbits are supplied under the Feeding-Stuffs Rationing Scheme only for breeding does, and I have no reason to doubt that it will be possible to provide such rations throughout the year.

Mr. Shinwell

Is this a reference to the Government's bill of fare?

Dr. Morgan

Is there any discrimination between white and black rabbits in this Country?
