7. Mr. Driberg

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he will ascertain from the Polish Government and publish in Hansard details of the sentences so far imposed by court-martial on the Polish-Jewish deserters recently arrested by Polish and British military police in London or elsewhere.

Mr. Law

I am informed by the Polish Government that the court martial proceedings against these men began on the 18th April, that is yesterday. I have not yet been informed that any sentences have so far been imposed.

Mr. Driberg

Will the right hon. Gentleman receive that information when sentences have been imposed; and if so, will he publish it, as requested in the Question?

Perhaps the simplest thing would be for the hon. Member to put down another Question.
