HC Deb 19 April 1944 vol 399 c183
14. Mr. John Dugdale

asked the Secretary of State for Air whether airmen serving overseas have any entitlement to return home after a certain period; and, if so, what length of time that period is.

Sir A. Sinclair

I would refer the hon. Member to the reply given to the hon. and gallant Member for Stockport (Wing-Commander Hulbert) on 22nd March by my right hon. and gallant Friend the Under-Secretary of State.

Mr. Dugdale

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that soldiers serving abroad think that such an entitlement does exist, and that they are very unsatisfied because they have not the same treatment as men of the R.A.F.?

Sir A. Sinclair

I am afraid I can only answer for the Royal Air Force.
