§ Earl Winterton (Horsham and Worthing)I wonder whether it would be convenient to the House if an answer could be given to one question which was put yesterday by the Leader of the Labour Party in regard to the future Sittings of this House. At present we are in vacuo. We were told yesterday that the matter would be considered and an announcement made at an early date: would it be possible for a statement to be made today? It is necessary that Members should be able to make their arrangements.
§ The Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs (Mr. Eden)My noble Friend will appreciate that the third Sitting Day is the normal day for these announcements. I was proposing to make a statement on the next Sitting Day.
