§ The Secretary of State for the Home Department (Mr. Herbert Morrison)In February of this year an amendment was made to the Lighting (Restrictions) Order which permitted an appreciable increase in the brightness of front lights on bicycles. This was welcomed by the cyclists' associations, and I am not aware of any general demand for a further increase.
