asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs the amount of the annual contribution to the League of Nations paid by His Majesty's Government?

The contribution payable by His Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom to the League of Nations for the year 1943 amounts to £164,210 15s. 10d.

Would the Minister agree that, provided proper use is made of the League, the expenditure is very useful?
