I am informed that the uniform, which is similar to that provided by many firms for their officers, was authorised by the Committee of Factory Occupiers set up to supervise the operation of the joint fire guard scheme on the trading estate.

Was this forced upon the occupier by the officer of the Ministry of Aircraft Production who causes fire-watching to be so expensive wherever he appears?
