HC Deb 04 November 1943 vol 393 c865
75. Mr. Viant

asked the Minister of Health whether he is aware of the increasing number of resolutions being passed by municipal corporations expressing the demand for legislation providing for the derating of industrial hereditaments be repealed; and is it his intention to submit such legislation to the House at an early date?

Mr. E. Brown

I have seen some resolutions in this sense, and have received representations from the Metropolitan Boroughs Standing Joint Committee. I would refer to the reply given to my hon. Friend the Member for Plaistow (Mr. Thorne) on 6th July, of which I am sending each of my hon. Friends a copy.
