§ 17. Captain Peter Macdonaldasked the Secretary of State for Air whether, following the successful completion of the Empire Civil Aviation Conference in London, any arrangements have yet been made for an international conference to consider the same subject; and, if so, who will represent this country?
§ Sir A. SinclairNo arrangements have yet been made for an international conference on civil aviation, but when 642 arrangements are made a list of the representatives will be published.
§ Captain MacdonaldIn view of the very active steps being taken, and the very large sums being expended, in the United States on planning for post-war civil aviation, will my right hon. Friend see that a conference between the United States and this country is held at an early date, so that some agreement may be reached?
§ Sir A. SinclairI can assure my hon. and gallant Friend that there will be no avoidable delay.
