§ Sir A. SinclairThis regrettable accident occurred on 23rd October in the course of routine Army training, with which a Royal Air Force aircraft was co-operating. The immediate cause was the accidental release from the aircraft of a certain item of equipment. An investigation into all the circumstances is now being held. I am sure that the House will wish to join with me in expressing sympathy with the relatives of those who lost their lives and with the injured.
