I beg to move, in page 2, line 42, after "collect," to insert: for the purpose of their powers and duties. During the passage of the Bill through Committee some apprehension was expressed lest paragraph (b) of this Clause might lead to roving inquiries by the new Board. It was never intended that the Board should conduct inquiries, except for the specific purposes of carrying out their duties, but in view of the apprehensions which have been expressed, we think it well to include these words.
