§ Colonel StanleyI have received particulars regarding a long-term drainage and irrigation plan for British Guiana. This extensive proposal, which raises issues of the greatest importance for the future of the Colony, is under active and sympathetic consideration, and at the 1551 present moment I am waiting for certain additional information which it has been necessary to request from the Governor.
