§ Mr. AttleeThe billeting rates in force for the Army are the same as for the Royal Air Force. The weekly rate quoted by my noble Friend for the Army is the rate payable until recently by both Services if only a billet and meals were provided: that rate has from 18th May been increased for both Services. If fires, extra lighting or laundry are also provided additional payments are made by both Services.
