§ Colonel StanleyNo, Sir. Although my right hon. Friend the Home Secretary has been most helpful and the National Association of Probation Officers have 608 given every assistance, it has not so far been possible to secure the services of suitable candidates for these two appointments. Efforts to do this are, however, being continued.
