§ 38. Mr. Fosterasked the Minister of Health whether, in view of the increasing number of widows who have been deprived of pensions under the Widows', Orphans' and Old Age Contributory Pensions Act, 1936, owing to the failure of their husbands to make the necessary 104 contributions under Section 5 (1) of the Act, for various reasons, and the hardship caused thereby, he will consider the advisability of steps being taken to modify the number of contributions to be made under that Section of the Act?
