HC Deb 29 July 1943 vol 391 cc1755-6
16. Mr. Bernard Taylor

asked the Minister of Pensions the reason for refusing a pension to Mr. K. T. Brewster, of Rainworth, Nottinghamshire, having regard to the fact that prior to entering the Merchant Service he enjoyed good health and on several occasions was declared fit for service and graded A.1; and will he review the case with a view to the granting of a pension?

The Minister of Pensions (Sir Walter Womersley)

I regret that I am unable to reverse the decision in this case, the reasons for which have already been fully explained to the hon. Member in writing.
