HC Deb 20 July 1943 vol 391 c683
38. Dr. Little

asked the Minister of Fuel and Power whether he will instruct petroleum officers to give favourable consideration to the requests of delicate and partially disabled people for additional petrol in cases where the waiting for and using public conveyances would be injurious to their health?

Major Lloyd George

Regional Petroleum Officers already have instructions to use their discretion sympathetically in dealing with requests from infirm and disabled persons. I shall be glad to inquire into any case where these instructions may appear to have been disregarded if my hon. Friend will furnish me with particulars?
