§ Mr. E. BrownThe Ministry of Health Standing Committee on Medical and Nutritional Problems—to which I presume my hon. Friend refers—is an informal committee consisting in the main of medical and other officers of the Departments concerned, which meets at varying intervals as questions arise for its consideration. In the two years of its existence, it has met 17 times. It has given advice to the Departments concerned on a large number of problems submitted to it.
