§ Mr. MabaneFurther consideration has been given to the recent reduction in the maximum price on a first hand sale of herring but as at present advised my Noble Friend is not prepared to depart from the new maximum price of 3s. 3d. per stone. He is prepared, however, in conjunction with my right hon. Friends the Ministers responsible for Fisheries, to examine any further facts or figures which the trade may produce to him.
§ Mr. BoothbyWill my hon. Friend give an assurance that no further changes of this character will be made without prior consultation with representatives of the fishermen?
