§ Mr. H. MorrisonThe passing of the recent Nationality Act made it necessary to add some provisions of a formal character to the existing Naturalisation Regulations. The opportunity was taken to consolidate the existing Regulations, and the convenience of having all the Regulations on this subject in one document will, I think, be appreciated. As the consolidated Regulations are substantially a reissue of the existing pre-war Regulations and the new provisions raise no question of principle, it did not appear that an explanatory memorandum was called for.
