§ Colonel StanleyHis Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom and the United States Government participate equally in the Caribbean Commission. I have had an opportunity recently of conferring with the Joint Chairmen, Mr. Taussig and Sir Frank Stockdale, and I was delighted to observe the very cordial spirit of co-operation existing between them. The United States 495 Government do not contribute financially to development and welfare in the British West Indies.
