asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he is yet able to issue his promised statement on the production and use of sewage sludge as compost, or otherwise?

I hope to be able to issue a statement very shortly.

Can the Minister give a date?

Mr. Hudson

It is to be considered at the beginning of next month by the Agricultural Improvement Council, and as soon as they let me have their views I hope to be able to make a statement.
