HC Deb 21 January 1943 vol 386 c284
59. Mr. Higgs

asked the Home Secretary whether he will consider relaxing the restrictions on the immobilisation of motor vehicles when parked on public property?

Mr. H. Morrison

The present restrictions apply whether a vehicle is parked on private or public property, and I cannot find justification for differentiating in the manner proposed by my hon. Friend.

Captain C. S. Taylor

Has not this Regulation now outlived its usefulness?

Mr. Morrison

I am not convinced that that is so, although I will from time to time review this matter in the light of current circumstances.
