HC Deb 25 February 1943 vol 387 c294
45. Mrs. Cazalet Keir

asked the Prime Minister whether he is yet in a position to state whether any action is proposed by the Government to carry out the suggestions in Section 19 of the Report on the Women's Services, that members of the auxiliary services should form part of the Armed Forces for work in Europe and elsewhere after the war?

The Deputy Prime Minister (Mr. Artlee)

The Government have fully realised the importance of the suggestions put forward in Section 19 of the Report on the Women's Services, and, as I have already informed my hon. Friend, these matters are being very fully investigated. As soon as I am in a position to make a further statement I will communictae with my hon. Friend.
