§ Mr. BevinYes, Sir. I appreciate highly the provision made last summer to enable workers to spend enjoyable holidays at home. I hope to see the movement extended this year, both as regard the annual holidays and the Bank Holiday periods, and I have already arranged, in consultation with my right hon. Friend the Minister of Health, to seek the renewed co-operation of the local authorities in the matter. Last summer's programmes in many places included very successful arrangements for outdoor sport and entertainment in the evenings, and I will gladly commend my hon. Friend's suggestion on this point to authorities who may not already have contemplated such plans.
