asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will make a statement on the policy and intentions of the Department of Education for Scotland regarding part-time day continuation classes in Scotland during and after the war?

The provision to be made for day continuation classes in Scotland is under consideration by the Government, but I am not yet in a position to make a statement on the policy which will be adopted.
