Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to make provision for regulating the remuneration and conditions of employment of catering and other workers and, in connection therewith, for their health and welfare and the efficiency and development of the industries in which they are employed, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of the expenses of the Minister of Labour and National Service in carrying the said Act into effect and any expenses authorised by that Minister with the consent of the Treasury to be incurred by the Commission or any wages board established under the said Act or any committee appointed thereunder."—(King's Recommendation signified.)—[Mr. Bevin.]
