Ordered, That a Select Committee be appointed to consider and report upon plans for the rebuilding of the House of Commons and upon such alterations as may be considered desirable while preserving all its essential features.

Ordered, That the Committee do consist of Fifteen Members.

Committee accordingly nominated of Commander Agnew, Mr. Benson, Captain De Chair, Mr. Erskine Hill, Sir Patrick Hannon, Sir Percy Harris, Mr. Hore-Belisha, Mr. Godfrey Nicholson, Mr. Pethick-Lawrence, Miss Rathbone, Sir Geoffrey Shakespeare, Mr. Bracewell Smith, Mr. Wedderburn, Mr. Wilmot and Earl Winterton.

Ordered, That Five be the quorum.
