HC Deb 07 December 1943 vol 395 c775
50. Mr. Glenvil Hall

asked the Prime Minister what steps have been taken by the Government to implement the recommendations of the Committee of Inquiry into Detention Barracks; and whether, in particular, immediate instructions can be given for the issue of blankets to all men confined in naval detention quarters from the date of their entry?

Mr. Attlee

The recommendations of the Committee of Inquiry into Detention Barracks are under consideration by the Ministers concerned, who will be making statements in due course.

Mr. Hall

Will my right hon. Friend answer the last part of the Question?

Mr. Attlee

My hon. Friend had better put that down to the First Lord of the Admiralty.

Mr. John Dugdale

Will the House have an opportunity of discussing the report at some future date?
