HC Deb 04 August 1943 vol 391 c2327
The Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs (Mr. Eden)

I beg to move, That this House, at its rising To-morrow, do adjourn until the first Sitting Day after 19th September. The House was informed on 28th July, last that these provisional dates had been put forward. The House is aware that the provision already exists for the House to be recalled if an earlier meeting is required in the public interest. This power has been exercised on several occasions before, and I cannot give an undertaking it may not have to be exercised again.

Question put, and agreed to.
