asked the Prime Minister whether he is aware that responsibility for welfare for the Royal Air Force Regiment is disclaimed alike by the War Office and the Air Ministry; and whether he will allocate this subject to one or other of these Departments?

My hon. and gallant Friend must be misinformed. Welfare for the Royal Air Force Regiment is the responsibility of the Air Ministry. The second part of the Question does not therefore arise.
