HC Deb 10 September 1942 vol 383 c270
11. Mr. Kirby

asked the Minister of Labour what steps have been taken, or will be taken, to provide training for persons, military or civil, who have been disabled by enemy action to such an extent that they cannot follow their normal employment; and whether his Department will place such persons at the end of their training in suitable employment?

Mr. Bevin

A scheme to assist the training and resettlement of persons disabled by enemy action or through other causes is now in operation. I am sending a copy of a leaflet describing the scheme to my hon. Friend.
