§ Sir A. DuncanThe quantity of scrap rubber so far collected, through local authorities and waste rubber merchants and through the operation of the Tyre Rationing Scheme, is well up to expectation. Sustained efforts are, however, needed to meet our continuing requirements. In co-operation with the Rubber Control, the Motor Agents' Association arc-arranging an intensive campaign amongst their members. An Order has recently been made prohibiting the destruction or throwing away of waste rubber; and local authorities have been directed to arrange for efficient collection.
§ Mr. MolsonIs there any proposal to take up the rubber pavement in the City of London and use that for salvage purposes?
