Major Lloyd GeorgeApproximately 9,100 men released from the Army and the Royal Air Force under the special arrangement for the return of ex-miners have started work in coal mines. The men who were released from the Army will remain in the industry indefinitely and the period of release granted to men from the Royal Air Force has been extended to 30th June, 1943. All collieries have been informed of these arrangements.
