HC Deb 20 October 1942 vol 383 c1816
21. Mr. Glenvil Hall

asked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that soldiers charged with offences are frequently marched through the streets of London handcuffed to their escort; and whether he will give instructions to prevent a continuance of this practice?

Sir J. Grigg

I am aware of no case in which this was done, but if my hon. Friend will give me details of any, I shall be glad to make inquiries.
