§ Mr. ButlerNo provision is made for any direct payment by the Board to cover boarding fees of pupils at secondary schools. The Board have power to pay grant on expenditure by local education authorities on the boarding expenses, but such grant is only paid where the pupil is outside the reach of a day secondary school.
