§ The Secretary of State for the Home Department (Mr. Herbert Morrison)Local authorities were informed on 1st September of the standard arrangements agreed upon, in consultation with the Supply Departments, for productive work in Civil Defence depots. I am sending my hon. Friend a copy of the circular. Similar arrangements have been adopted for the National Fire Service.
