HC Deb 08 October 1942 vol 383 c1357
42. Mr. Dunn

asked the Minister of Health what steps he intends to take to give effect to the recommendations of the Scott Committee's Report with regard to the urgent need for more houses in rural areas?

Mr. E. Brown

These recommendations are now being considered by the Rural Housing Sub-Committee of my Central Housing Advisory Committee so that plans can be made forthwith for the resumption of new building on the necessary scale at the earliest practicable date.
