HC Deb 08 October 1942 vol 383 c1346
36. Mr. Denville

asked the Home Secretary when the King's Commission is granted to officers in the Army Cadet Force does he propose to exempt them from performing fire-watching duties at business premises, providing his commanding officer certifies he is devoting not less than 48 hours every four weeks to cadet duties?

Mr. H. Morrison

I recognise that there is force in this claim for exemption, and I am considering how best it can be met.
